Prayer Points (If You Need)

1 🙏      Guidance from the Lord: Pray for God's children to know that the Lord is their rock and their fortress, and for the sake of His name, the Lord will always lead and guide His children. Pray for those who are unsure of their future to find Jesus as their shepherd, so that they will find refuge in Him.

2 🙏      Vindication: Pray for those who are unfairly treated to encounter the Lord and put their trust in Him. Pray that they will commit their ways to the Lord and trust that He will make their righteous reward shine like the dawn, and their vindication like the noonday sun. Those who trust in the Lord, He will vindicate.

3 🙏     Find Life: Pray for people in all the nations not to be misled by the devil but find life in Christ. Pray for encounters with the Lord of life that they will see the filthiness in the old sinful nature, that they will lose their life for the sake of Christ and experience being born again in Christ, that living water will flow from within them and be their new source of life.

 

4 🙏     Faith In Action: Pray for believers not to just speak of faith but to demonstrate that their faith is living because it is accompanied by action. Pray for believers to move out of their comfort zones as the Holy Spirit leads them, that their faith in action will become the instruments in the hands of God to bring about the changes that are needed for the circumstances they are faced with.

5 🙏     Restoration: Pray believers in Christ to rejoice while striving for full restoration, and to encourage one another, be of one mind to live in peace. Pray for churches not to involve in meaningless disputations that bring disunity into the Body, but be mindful of the Spirit, have the mind of Christ when dealing with every issue that arises in the Body. Pray that the Church will be the Bride of Christ made ready for the Groom’s return.

6 🙏     Ownership Observed: The Scriptures declare that the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world and all who live in it. Pray that the world will come to realize that truly it and everything in it were created by the Lord and for the Lord. Pray that the nations will come to acknowledge Him as their master, and so give honour to Him, allowing His rule and reign to be established on earth as it is in heaven.

7 🙏     Holiness: Pray for believers all around the world to live in holiness and be in peace with everyone. For without holiness, no one will see the Lord. Pray for nations or places that are over-run by evil forces, that God will enter with His mighty power to counter the dark forces that are at work in those places.

8 🙏     Jesus Is The Way: Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. Pray for the Church to bring the gospel message effectively to the world, and be constantly reaching out to the lost. Pray for those who are holding back to overcome their fear and be fruitful in reaching lost souls.

9🙏     Disciple of Christ: Pray for people whether believers or non-believers alike to become true disciples of Christ. May none become a stumbling block in anyone's path or be discredited as Jesus' disciple because of words or actions of other people. May believers be empowered by the Holy Spirit to be an example of Christ in homes, workplace, neighborhood or school.

10 🙏     Perservere: Pray for believers to persevere to overcome the world. There will be troubles in this world but Jesus has overcome the world! Pray for believers not to lose heart in the midst of obstacles, challenges, and trials of this life. But be empowered by the Holy Spirit to endure the hardships and trust in God to bring us through the storms.

11 🙏     Moral Uprightness: Pray for fathers and mother to take responsibility for the moral crisis in the world. Pray for them to lead their children by example and be models of consecration according to the standard of the Scripture, to make a clean break with everything that defiles our spirit, soul, mind and body.

12🙏     Religious Spirit: Pray against religious spirit in churches. Pray for believers not to be like the religious leaders in Acts, that we do not go through the motions and put on a good show without the Holy Spirit. Cause us to love God so much that we will not tolerate anything that dishonours God's name and distort the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

13 🙏     Handicapped: Pray for the healing of the handicapped. Pray for them to have people to support them and have a conducive enironment for them to grow and develop. Pray for their hearts to be comforted by God and they be treated with respect and love. Pray against any prejudice and unfair treatment they face in the home, schools or workplace. Pray for them to encounter Jesus and receive healing and deliverance from Him.

14 🙏     Provision and Protection: Pray for the provision and protection of the Lord for all people. For believers as they walk in faith and be obedient to the Lord in answering the call on their lives. For non-believers to receive divine provision and protection from the Lord so their eyes be open to who the Lord is. Pray for faith to prevail and fear to be dispelled. Pray for all to respond to the provision and protection to walk after the Lord with undivided heart and give honor to God.

15 🙏     Gratitude: Pray that God’s children be more mindful of the Lord and His blessings even in times of difficulty. Pray for believers to have a pure heart and walk in righteousness, to bless when others mock, persecute or slander, for the reward in heaven will be great! Pray for believers to be the salt and light for the world and the heart to be filled with gratitude for the things that Jesus has prepared for us as we walk in His ways.

16 🙏     Treasure: Where your treasure is, there your heart will also be. (Mat 6:21) Pray for people in the world to find the true treasure in Christ Jesus. Pray for those who are blinded by the treasures that the world offer them to have their eyes opened to the true treasure of Life.

17 🙏     Love and Faithfulness: Pray for believers to always let love and faithfulness lead us; help us to bind them around our neck and write them on the table of our hearts, so we will walk always in it and thus have favour and a good name in the sight of God and man.

18 🙏     Yieldedness: Pray for God's children to learn the lesson of yieldedness and cast all their cares upon the Lord. Pray for them to seek the face of the Lord and His power to overcome any cares and concerns that are troubling them, and not lean on their own understanding. Pray for God to come through for them and take them to a place of victory, that their faith be built up to know that God is truly God Almighty.

19 🙏     Don't Create Our Own Light: Our natural tendency when we don’t see God’s way is to do it our way. “All you who kindle a fire, who encircle yourselves with firebrands, walk in the light of your fire.” God is not talking about the fire of judgement, He is talking about fire that creates light. When people create their own light: “Among the brands you have set ablaze... this you will have from My hand: you will lie down in torment.” Essentially God is saying do it your way and misery will follow. Pray that the Church doesn’t create its own light, but we be a people that seek His face through prayer to walk in His light. Pray for God to reveal His plans for us clearly.

20 🙏     Grumbling: Pray for believers not to grumble. For the Lord instructs us to do everything without grumbling or arguing, then can we be blameless and pure, shining among a warped and crooked generation like stars in the sky as we hold firmly to the word of life.

21 🙏     Renewing of Mind: Pray for people to encounter God and be transformed by the renewing of their mind. Pray that they will test and approve what God’s will is and discover that it is truly good, pleasing and perfect. Pray for the Holy Spirit to bring such a revelation into their hearts.

22 🙏     Husband Love Your Wife: Pray for believers to truly love their wives just as Christ loved the church. Christ gave up his life for her. Pray for husbands not to neglect the wife nor take her for granted. Pray for husbands not to forget the vows they have taken before the Lord in the marriage.

23 🙏     Love: Pray for believers to walk in love. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it does not dishonour others, it is    not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs.

24 🙏     Guard Their Lips: Pray for God's children to learn to guard their lips so that their lives will be preserved. For those who speak rashly will only come to ruin. Pray for words that are life-giving to flow from believers’ lips, that their mouths be a source of encouragement and healing to those around them.

25 🙏     Scripture Reading: Pray for believers not to neglect putting time into reading the scriptures daily. For the Lord instructs His children not to forget His teachings, but keep His commands in the heart. For this will prolong their lives many years and bring peace and prosperity to them. Pray for the Holy Spirit to open God’s word to His children and give them light.

26 🙏     Prayer: Pray for the Church to realize that prayer can move mountains. The words of its prayers are powerful against depression, financial woes, relationship issues and so on. Situations can change with just a few faith-filled words of prayer because we have a God that is bigger than any problems. Our God's hand is not short that He cannot help, what the enemy meant for evil, He can change it to good.

27 🙏     Not Of This World: Pray for believers to realized that we are not of this world. For we brought nothing into the world and we can take nothing out of it. But let believers redeem the time that God has given them so that what they do will be benefitial in eternity. Pray that they will allow God to use them as vessels of blessings to others and to His kingdom purposes.

28 🙏     Strength of My Heart: My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever (Psa 73:26). Pray for those who find themselves in dire situations, that even if it seems that their flesh and heart may fail, God will intervene and become their strength. Pray that such encounters with God will spur them on in the walk of faith.

29 🙏     Soul Winning: Pray for God's people to be effective in the work of soul winning. Pray for the Holy Spirit to move mightily in the work of salvation. Pray for churches to look out for opportunities to reach lost souls and be ready in season and out of season. Pray for churches to visit those who are sick and in need of God's healing, to lay hands to them and share the good news to them and their families.

30 🙏     Cord of Three Strands: Pray for God’s children to live out the principle of the cord of three strands and be able to protect each other and keep close to the Lord. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

31 🙏     Sincerity: Pray for love to be sincere in the lives of people. Pray against those that are manipulating others through insincere show of love to bring about evil consequences. Pray for the innocents to be protected against such evil works. Pray for believers to hate what is evil and cling to what is good.

32 🙏     Singapore: Pray for our national leaders. Pray for God to place the right people in the right place. Pray for each of them to be protected and guided by God. Pray that the government will continue to be clean and efficient, to effectively lead our people forward in ways that are God pleasing. Pray for God to have favor with our nation and prosper us.

33 🙏     Generations: Pray for the generations of believers to encounter God and continue to be fervent in the Lord. The older generation to be healthy and be able to pass on their spiritual knowledge and anointing to the next generation. Pray for the adult generation to be good examples to the young in their walk of faith. Pray for the younger generation to personally encounter Jesus and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

34 🙏     Divorce/Separation: Pray for couples who are on the brink of divorce or separation. Pray for God to intervene in their situations and not let the enemy tear the families apart. Pray for misunderstandings to clear up and a heart of reconciliation to come into all parties. Pray against evil forces that are at work in their conflict, and for love to prevail.

35 🙏     Dishonesty: Pray against the spirit of deception and betrayal. Pray for people in the world who might be victims of scheming parties, that they be protected against the lies at work to harm them. Pray against those who are setting up traps for their victims, that they will fail in their plans. Pray for God to bring these evil doers to justice.

36 🙏     Sickness: Pray for those who are sick. Pray for God to have mercy upon them and touch them with His healing touch. Pray for God to send the right people to minister His Word of healing to them. Pray for the Body of Christ to be able to lay hands on them and restore them.

37 🙏     Unity: Pray for the leaders of the Church to enter into a spirit of unity where they are in support of one another at the same time aligned with the purposes of God for the season. Pray that churches compliment each other in ministering to the lost and reaching out to the world. Pray for the Body to have influence with the local community where they are located and make a difference to the people there.

38 🙏     Show Compassion: Pray for believers to show compassion for people in their lives. For whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. Pray that as children of God we do not let any opportunities that appear for us to show care and concern to others pass us by without lifting our hands to help.  

39 🙏     Worry: Pray for people who are constantly worrying about tomorrow to turn to God. For God says for people not to worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Pray for God to keep those who seek Him in perfect peace. A peace that surpasses all understanding.

40🙏     Virtuous Woman: Pray for the daughters of God to be fine examples of the virtuous woman in Proverb 31. Pray for those seeking a life partner to be able to find such previous lives and be able to enter into marriage that produces blissful homes with many children that walk after righteousness. Pray for those seeking marriage to be led by the Spirit to those that God has prepared for them.

41 🙏     Discerning The Seasons: Pray for the Body of Christ to spend time before the Lord and gain knowledge of what He is doing in their mdst. Pray that believers to join together with the Lord and partner Him in the things He wants done. Pray for the Church to be joined with Jesus the head and be directed by Him. Pray against any pressure for leaders of the Church to strive in their own strength and miss the opportunity to be still to know Him.

42 🙏     Brothers In Christ: Pray for the Body of Christ to truly know what it means to be called brothers and sisters in Christ. A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. In Christ we are tied to other believers in a bond of love no matter what the circumstance is. Even in adverse situations, believers would not forsake one another.

43 🙏     Law Enforcement: Pray for law enforcement agencies such as the police, the prisons and the courts. Pray that they uphold the law truthfully and also be able to show compassion at the same time. Pray for their safety as they deal with emergency situations, that they will deal with every situation wisely and effectively. Pray for God to guide them.

45 🙏     Pray for Salvation of Loved Ones: Pray for your loved ones and those in your lives who have not received Jesus; for Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin; the Spirit to enlighten so they can understand the gospel. Pray for God's revelation of His love for them; His release of the people from Satan's bonds; God's gift of yielding grace and bestowing of the assurance of salvation.

46 🙏     Restraint and Defeat of Satan: Pray for God to deal with the evil schemes of Satan; Satan's plans to be defeated; Satan to be rebuked; power of darkness to be broken; chains of sin and evil habits to be broken; doors closed by Satan to be opened; demonic spirits to be driven away; Satan's slaves to be freed.

47 🙏     Children: Pray for the Lord to give opportunities for children to hear the Gospel. Pray for God to watch over them and protect them. Pray for their parents to be able to teach them the ways of the Lord from young so that they will never depart from it. Pray for children to be able to reach out to their peers and connect them with the Church.

48 🙏     Teachers: Pray for teachers in our schools. Pray for them to be in good health and be good role models for their students, and to inspire their students to reach new heights and realize their full potentials. Pray for them to receive the tangible and intangible rewards of teaching where young ones are guided to walk in the way of righteousness.

49 🙏     Foreign Workers: Pray for foreign workers over the world. Pray for them to recieve good treatments from their employers. Pray for their safety and well being in their work environments. Pray for them to have good living conditions and be able to rest when they need to. Pray for them to receive rightful wages that are dued them in a timely manner.

50 🙏     Hesitant to believe: Pray for those who are hesitant to receive the Lord as their savior even though they have been touched by God. Pray that they will take the step fo faith to confess Jesus as their personal savior and not turn back. Pray for every concerns in their hearts to be removed, and every doubts or obstacles preventing them to receive Jesus to be removed through revelations and power coming from the Holy Spirit. Pray for God's mercy to continue to prompt them and move their hearts.

51 🙏     Trauma: Pray for those who are tormented by the spirit of trauma. Pray for them to experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Pray for God to remove the bad memories, flashbacks, pain, grief, and loss. That God will heal their broken hearts and sooth their emotions. Allow them to enter into a new season of life where they will experience the freedom in the love of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

52 🙏     Protection against the ungodly: There are people in the world who do not love God's people and will create trouble for those who serve the Lord. Pray for God to take charge and protect His servants, vindicating them from those who oppose them.

53 🙏     Humility: Pray for God's children to be teachable and humble before the Lord. That we will seek the face of the Lord for all that we need to do, each being sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and not going our own ways. Pray for us to truly know to be still before God, that our Lord is God Almighty, that we will succeed in all that we do when we seek His face.

54 🙏     Teenagers: Pray for our teenagers. Pray for God to lead and guide them in their spiritual walk. Pray for them to encounter Jesus and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray that they will have good friends to grow up and share wonderful experiences with. Pray for God to build a hedge of protection around them, shielding them from the evil one and the bad influences from the world. Pray for them to do well in their studies and have active faith to serve God in the youth ministry.

55 🙏     News Industry: Pray for God to clean up the News industry and put righteous people in charge of the major news agencies in the world. Remove those with hidden agenda to sway public opinion for their wicked ends. Pray for reporting to be truthful and unbiased. Block those who are trying to stir up emotions with fake news to advance their hidden agenda.

56 🙏     Lovers of self: Pray against the love of self over the love of the Lord. Pray for believers not to draw near to God and then retreat again to old ways. Pray against self-righteousness, self-provision, and selfishness. Pray for non-believers who encounter the Lord and are touched by the Holy Spirit to open their hearts and receive the eternal life of Christ.

57 🙏     Taking Jesus' Yoke: Jesus invites us to take up his yoke. A yoke that is easy and a burden that is light. He tells us that when we take up his yoke, we will find rest for our souls. The offer of God’s grace, represented by the yoke of Christ, is freely offered to all who would accept it by faith. Those who feel overwhelmed and defeated by what their religious laws and rituals demand of them can take up His yoke and learn of him. Pray for the Church to be filled with people who choose to learn of Jesus and know how to rest in Him. Pray that we will leave legalism aside and walk in the freedom of our salvation, be filled with faith in God’s grace and are secure in our relationship with Him.

58 🙏     Wise Living: Pray for the Lord to allow people in the world to walk not as the unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity and everything that the Lord has given them to do good not only for themselves, but also for the good of the world because the days are evil. Pray for people not to fall into any evil schemes that others set up for them, and for God to show Himself strong on their behalf.

59 🙏     Correction: Pray for the Lord to correct us in the things that we do that are not pleasing in His sight. Pray for Him to open our eyes to our shortcomings. Pray for the Holy Spirit to correct us and give us revelation to the Truth. Pray that our walk be in righteousness that carries God's Presence everywhere we go so that people will be touched by His Presence.

60 🙏     Churches: Pray for protection for our leaders in all the churches to serve God with a pure heard and clean hands, to be able to minister faith to God's people so that they will walk in faith and not in fear.

61 🙏     Single: Pray for those who are single and are wishing to get married. Pray for God to provide them a suitable helpmate who will respect, honor, prefer, esteem, stand firmly by their side, be united in spirit and purpose together with them. May favor be found in your sight for them.

62 🙏     Deceitfulness of Heart: Pray for people in the nations to finally realise the deceitfulness of their hearts which is beyond cure. Pray that they realise if the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, and reward each person according to their conduct, they will all perish. Pray for them to be repentant before the Lord and turn to Christ for their salvation.

63 🙏     Contentment: Pray for believer to know contentment as did apostle Paul. For he wrote: “I know what it is to be in need, and what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.”( Phi 4:12). Pray for believers in the world to adapt to any situations God has led them into and still be fruitful for God’s work.

64 🙏     Duty Of All Man: Solomon declares that the duty of all mankind is to fear God and keep His commandments. Pray for the Lord to restore godliness into the lives of all mankind and His promises to come to past in mankind, that the lost humanity will be restored to the image of God He initially made us to be before Adam sinned. Pray for mankind to receive again the Spirit of God into its mortal bodies and bring it life.

65 🙏     Young: Pray for the young in the Lord that they do not let anyone look down on them because they are young. Pray that they will boldly set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. Pray that the next generation will be God’s warriors in leading people out of bondages and into the light of the Lord.

66 🙏     In Christ We Live: Pray for God's children to walk in newness of life and forsake his old ways. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. Pray for believers to constantly be vigilant against the manifestation of the fleshly nature and stop walking in it. Pray that believers will resists the devil in times of temptation so that the devil will flee from them. But walk in newness of life to the glory of Christ.

67 🙏     Light of the World: Pray that the Body of Christ be light of the world, and a town built on a hill that cannot be hidden. When will a town built on a hill become hidden? When it becomes a waste land with overgrown vegetation that blends it in with its surroundings. Pray that the Church will not fall into the trap of trying to follow the ways of the world to win over the world. The Church loses its identity and its effectiveness when it tries to do that.

68 🙏     More than Conquerors: Pray for the body of Christ to be strong in the Lord; walking not in the flesh but are mindful of the things of the Spirit. Pray for believers to know that their old men are crucified with Christ and the body of sin done away with; that we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us and we can indeed do all thing through Christ.

69 🙏     Those in authority: Pray for those in authority to have the fear of the Lord. Pray for government officials and church leaders to walk in righteousness. Pray for God to cut off the horns of the wicked and lift up the horns of the righteous. Pray for the people to submit to authority so that there will be peace and the rule of law in the land.

70 🙏     Church of Jesus Christ: Pray for the Lord to build His Church. Pray for planting of new congregations of believers, the growth of existing congregations. Pray for local churches to be faithful to its vision and have the zeal to witness and win souls. Pray for the church to be faithful in its giving and tithing, discipling of believers, increased in the spirit of prayer, and be established in sound doctrine.

71 🙏     Judging others: Pray for believers to learn not to condemn others. The word of God says do not judge and we will not be judged, do not condemn and we will not be condemned, forgive and we will be forgiven. Pray for the Body of Christ to be a shining example to the world of knowing how to exercise grace without condoling immoral or inappropriate behaviour or work ethics. Pray for God to empower us to walk in light and be able to firmly dispel darkness.

72 🙏     The Americas: Mission vision has rapidly grown and matured in Latin America. In 1987 there were around 60 agencies with 1,600 missionaries. Today, there are over 400 agencies representing more than 10,000 missionaries. Major sending nations are Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Peru. Apart from these, there are the thousands who serve God abroad as economic migrants or deliberate tentmakers. Pray for consistent, loving, fruitful witness of these servants of God to their host cultures.

73 🙏     Fishers of Men: Pray for the Church to be effective in reaching the lost.    Pray that believers will gladly become ambassadors of Christ to boldly make known the mystery of the gospel, not holding back in proclaiming the glad tidings of righteousness. Pray for people to respond to the gospel and receive forgiveness of sin and be reconciled with God.

74 🙏     Climate Change: Pray for the creation. Pray that the damage done in so many years of neglect and abuse to God's creation can be reversed. Pray for governments and their agencies to see the cost of inaction in protecting the environment. Pray for strong and effective actions to come into place so that we can take care of the world we live in.

75 🙏     China: Pray for the Church of China. Pray against the persecution that comes from the communist party and from the government controlled three-self Church. Pray for the Church of China to continue to grow in numbers and maturity in Christ. Pray for it to have power over even to higher echelons in the communist party, and for the whole nation to totally transformed and turn to Christ.

76 🙏     New Wine Skin in Mission: Pray for the Church to find new ways of training, sending, supporting missionaries, especially non-Western workers. Changes in global politics and economics require new models and patterns of mission work. Mission agencies increasingly work through partner networks, based on specific unreached areas or   people groups. Pray for the Church to be able to adapt effectively to the new landscapes in world situations and for the Lord to make it fruitful.

77 🙏     Muslim Conversion: Islam faces significant internal crisis. The violence and terror tactics of radical Islamists horrify the world, including many peace-loving Muslims who make up the majority of Islam. More Muslims than ever have turned to Jesus, but many decide to abandon religion altogether. Pray for the small streams of Muslims who come to Christ to become rushing rivers all over the world.

78 🙏     Open Eyes: Pray for the eyes of men to be opened to the great things the Lord is doing in our midst. Pray that the hearts of stone to be turned into hearts of flesh by the Spirit, and respond to the God who is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in love. Pray that God breathe the life of His Spirit into the hearts of men, and let joy and gladness be restored to the people in the salvation of the Lord.

79 🙏     Contrite Heart: Pray for God to work in the hearts of men to revive the spirit of the lowly and the heart of the contrite. Destroy every area of pride for hearts to respond to God's love and compassion. Open ears that men might hear and understand God's Word and the voice of His Spirit. Touch the hearts of men to become streams of living water to glorify God.
